  •           During the time of Rev.Fr.Narbitz, Thein Lar was a village of under the care of Myaung Mya. When Thayetchaung, the area of compound is about 3.60 area, the dedicated to St. Mary was built in 1986 by Fr. John Saine Hgyi the parish priest of Thayetchaung at that time. There was one clergy house , and now two boaring house for students. Theinlar is famous Pwo Karen villagein which six different religious co-existing peacefully for hundred years. There is state high school from which the children of that region are easily assessable for their education.
