- Sacred Heart Church ( Mary Land parish )
- The mission was started by Fr. Tadiber , the French missionary. He started his mission east bank of Ayeyarwaddy river 7 miles away from existing parish. In 1867 Fr. Tadiber shifted to west bank of the river and built mission buildings and gave the name Mary Land(the land of Mary Our Mother). He died at the age of 82 and buried in the church.
