Synodal team at the diocesan level holds a physical meeting

The local synodal team in the Diocese of Pathein located in the Region of Ayeyarwaddy held a physical meeting for the final synthesis to be submitted to the office of the Executive Secretary of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Myanmar on May 26 at 10 in the morning.

Father Florence Aung Kyaw Oo, who is currently a team leader, led the event.

Father Henry Eikhlein, the Diocesan Administrator, started the face-to-face meeting with the opening prayer.

In his opening remark after prayer, Father Eikhlein said, “This activity is the record of the Diocese. Being a record, we are to base on them for our ongoing road map.”

“I would like to encourage you all to continue the review,” added the Diocesan Administrator.

Team leader Father Aung Kyaw Oo explained to the attendance the intention of the meeting, its process, and its performance during the local synodal Church.

Then, the synthesis in the English language which had been prepared in the PowerPoint presentation was reviewed paragraph by paragraph.

The review of the synthesis was done at 12: 30 pm. The physical meeting ended with the concluding prayer.

The population of the attendance is ten in number with six priests, two nuns, and two laypeople. Local news- Raymond Mahn Kyaw
