Diocesan Administrator in Myanmar expresses his gratitude in a circular letter to the faithful

Diocesan Administrator Father Henry Eikhlein of Pathein diocese in the Ayeyarwaddy Region of Myanmar expresses his gratitude in a circular letter to the faithful on May 30.

“I am grateful to you all for practically doing as I encouraged you to actively recite the rosary and devote the Blessed Virgin Mary in the whole month of May, which was a loving tradition of the Church and dedicated to her,” said Father Eikhlein.

The Diocesan Administrator urged all the faithful in the Diocese of Pathein to continue to pray for the peace of the whole world and Myanmar on the feast day of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

“I wish you all to pray especially for those who are daily living in the conflict areas with grief, stress, misery, and many difficulties,” stated in his circular letter.

In the last epistle, Father Eikhlein highlighted that the Ayeyarwddy Region was a Natural Disaster-Prone Zone where the Diocese of Pathein was located.

“Geographically Pathein diocese is in the natural calamity. I give you a reminder again to prevent the unprecedented both natural and Man-made disasters with great awareness,” reminded Father Eikhlein.
